September is nearing it’s close and while there’s so much good about this time of year – feast days, the Jewish New Year, and amazing prophecy and promises of the Lord being released… we cannot forget what else comes with this season.
Autumn isn’t just a time for cooler weather and changing leaves, it’s also a time where occult activity kicks up tremendously. It’s a time where the veil between the second heaven and earth grows thin, more demons are released upon the earth, innocent blood is spilled and consumed, more power for the dark is received into it’s earthen vessels, and curses are released upon the earth and its people in order to advance it’s cause.
It’s been going on the same way for ages, and yet most people are ignorant of the movements of the dark. Not that their activity is terribly secret; most people simply don’t look – or know what to look for. But woe to the Christians who fall into the category of “ignorant of the devil’s devices”. Of all people on earth, we are ones called to be warriors against such evil and thus to know our enemy. But alas, the world has enticed the church into so much worldliness and paganism, that Christians are more aware of their favorite sports team stats and Starbucks flavors than anything of minute importance – much less of great importance. How much evil is accomplished simply because nobody stood to stop it.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. – Hosea 4:6
By God’s word and by His grace there is always a remnant, though, and there is a remnant here and now as well. They are the few who are not ignorant of the enemy’s ways or works….they are simply far fewer in number than anyone would imagine. The vast majority of people will be dazed and confused by the horrors coming upon the earth which have been brewing for ages and yet gone nearly completely unchecked and unhindered as the ones meant to come against it never even paid attention. These words of Hosea are chilling, indeed.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children. – Hosea 4:6
It is truly the “few” who are going to war in the spirit praying against such evil and wickedness, pleading the blood of Jesus over the continual sin and iniquity spread by the wicked, and holding the forces of darkness at bay until the Lord arrives. It is “the few” who are travailing, suffering, sacrificing the world and worldly pleasure, pouring out their souls to the Father day and night, and battling many dark forces in spiritual places.
These are the faithful and true. They are the called out ones. They are the ekklēsía. And they are not part of Mystery Babylon, which has replaced most of America’s church today. The few who truly know their enemy. The few who truly know the time and the times.
Lord, may we not be part of the many who are perishing, but part of the few who are fighting the forces of darkness on this earth. May we give our lives for your great name, your great glory, and your great goodness. Let us fight the good fight with faith and with grace as we seek to establish justice and righteousness on an earth so overrun with evil. Let it never be said that we were ignorant of your will….or our enemy’s. Let us be the few, let us be the chosen, let us be your true church. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I’m part of a remnant, and I think Satan knows who I am. I know he sends some angels to attack me, but thankfully because I have the Holy Spirit demons cannot come in me.
